About VIP: Like many others, Don and Paula Fowler spent years working on fundraisers as parents, teachers, volunteers, coaches and club sponsors. They raised funds for schools, churches, and other non-profit organizations. They thought they had seen it all but then they heard about an exciting product called Butter Braid pastries. It seemed everyone was talking about this delicious product. They were searching for a unique product to sell for their church's 7th and 8th grade summer mission trip. Paula & Don were disappointed to learn that there was not a Butter Braid dealer in their area. However, they turned their disappointment into action. Instead of giving up, they decided to research the possibility of becoming a Butter Braid dealer. They did become dealers and through word-of-mouth, their small business has rapidly expanded in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Butter Braid® Story: The Banwart family started making Butter Braid frozen pastries in their home in West Bend, Iowa back in 1989. Originally, it was sold at Farmers Market along with their own fresh produce in a small Iowa town... this delicious treat quickly caught on! Butter Braid frozen pastries are now distributed in over 30 states (including Alaska) and manufactured in 2 states. About the product: Butter Braid pastry dough comes frozen. When baked, it produces a homemade tasting breakfast entree or dessert. it needs to rise 8-12 hours (rise till doubles in size). Bake for 20-25 minutes to make a delicious special pastry! There are 11 one inch servings in each Butter Braid pastries. If you are concerned about health, it is important to know that there is no trans fat in Butter Braid pastries and between 150 and 190 calories per 1 inch slice. |
